Co-operation of the Baha’is with the Enemies of Iran

           Randolph Dobbs, Board of DirectorsRandolph Dobbs was born in Oakland, California, and raised in Salinas near Monterey, where he attended Hartnell College. He studied political science at King’s College in London and is an amateur historian. Mr. Dobbs served as the editor of the Los Angeles Bahá’í Journal for over ten years and has been the secretary of the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of Los Angeles since 1996. He is very active in the interfaith community, serving on the Advisory Board of the Valley Interfaith Council, the Executive Board of the Inter-Religious Council of Southern California and as Religious Director in the Office of Religious Life at the University of Southern California. Mr. Dobbs also serves on the Regional Baháí Council of the State of California, an administrative position responsible for Baháí development in the region. He and his wife, Chris, with their two grown children live in Southern California. 

           Earlier tonight with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Ca. During his speech the secretary said that the US is creating new round-the-clock Persian-language programming for television, radio, digital and social media to directly reach the Iranian people.
    After the speech I was seated at his table for dinner and asked him about the Baháís in Yemen. He said the state department is working on a major interfaith program to discuss religious persecution and the Baháís will be part of the conversation.
