Being oppressed and wearing a mask of deprivation makes the truth not known. Just like a child who wants to get his point across by shouting and screaming.
According to their leader (Abdu’l-Bahá), the Baha’is should suffer and try to be punished in some way by busyness and breaking the law. That’s when everyone’s heart aches for them by making them look oppressed, and no one realizes that their lawbreaking actually caused them to be punished.
