Baha’i National Center in UAE opens secretly for fear of public backlash

According to Tabnak Cultural Reporter, the news channel of the followers of the Baha’i sect recently published an article announcing the official opening of the “United Arab Emirates Baha’i National Center.” The opening ceremony was hosted by the National Baha’i Assembly of the Emirates and was attended by groups of followers of this misguided sect in Abu Dhabi.

The program included a message from the National Baha’i Assembly and a speech by Bani Dugal, representing the Baha’i Board of Directors (BIC). There were also portions of the program dedicated to reciting Baha’i prayers and performing music.

What is noteworthy is the limited coverage of this event; the news of the opening of this center was only published on the Telegram channel “Baha’i News Channel” and some media outlets aligned with this sect, and no official or unofficial media in the UAE, or even the country’s domestic media, covered it.

“Fariborz Baghi,” a member of the organization of the lost Baha’i sect, emphasized in a message to this channel that one of the old friends in the Emirates requested that this good news not be published.

It seems that the news boycott of this event was carried out at the request of UAE authorities to prevent domestic and regional reactions.

In recent years, under the slogan of expanding economic, political, and cultural freedoms, the UAE has taken steps such as establishing relations with the Zionist regime, joining the Abrahamic Covenant, and providing a space for activity for the misguided Baha’i sect.

The United Arab Emirates is a member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and must implement its resolutions. The organization’s Fiqh Assembly, in its resolution No. 31 dated February 11, 1988, which is included in the Assembly’s Journal, Vol. 3, p. 2189, called Baha’ism an infidel sect that all member states must recognize as a definite danger and prevent any growth or support for it in their countries.

This action by the UAE in establishing a propaganda base for the Zionist Baha’i organization in that country is both contrary to the resolutions of the Organization of Islamic Countries and creating a platform for the propaganda of that sect that has abrogated Islam and the Quran, seeks to eradicate Islam, and cooperates with Zionist plans to influence Islamic countries.
