Baha’i Teaching – Doctrines Of Baha’i Faith-Oneness of humanity
In the Baháʼí community, members are expected to act in accordance with directives issued by the Baháʼí administration. This means they do not enjoy full freedom in making personal decisions and must seek permission from the administration—even for simple matters. They are also not allowed to criticize or openly discuss the official views of the Baháʼí community.
As evidence of this stance, the book Golzar-e Ta‘alim-e Baháʼí (The Rose Garden of Baháʼí Teachings), page 41, states:
“Baháʼís in every country and region must, with all their strength and utmost sincerity, rise to support their local and national representatives, obey and submit to the decisions issued by these official Baháʼí institutions, and subordinate their personal opinions, thoughts, and desires to the will and decisions of their representative bodies”
