Baha’i Teachings-Baha’is obedience to the government
ʻAbdu’l-Bahá the second leader of the Baháʼí Faith said:
“No action should ever be taken, in whole or in part, without the government’s permission and consent. Whoever takes the slightest (smallest) action without the government’s permission has opposed the Baha’i creed, and no excuse is acceptable from him.”
(Abd al-Ḥamīd Ishrāq Khāwarī, Ganjīniy-i ḥudūd wa aḥkām (Persian copy), chap. 75, p.464)
According to their own laws, Baháʼís are required to obey the government in which they reside; however, we witness their disorderly conduct and opposition to the laws of the Iranian State.
