Doctrines Of Baha’i Faith-A Universal Auxiliary Language

Everyone should choose a common language and communicate in an “Universal Auxiliary Language“, so they can understand each other’s intentions. (Hushidar Motlagh, Global perspective (Persian copy), chapter 11 p.128)

One of the teachings of the Baha’i Faith is that all languages should be set aside and the entire world should speak a common language (As an Universal Auxiliary Language), while dialects and accents are human treasures and heritage, and are very important and should be preserved.

When this Baha’i slogan was popular, they wanted to introduce a newly invented language called Esperanto as international Auxiliary Language to the people of the world, but it was not accepted and they secretly abandoned it.
